the wanton and errant ramblings of a questioning mind

Shut the )%*$*% up already
This thought crosses my mind every time certain people speak and I'm being too polite to speak my mind. A particular co-worker evokes this in me daily. Who comes to mind for you? (Names can be changed to protect their sorry behinds...lol)

LOL!!
I have a friend who is a know it all. She loves to contradict my points and will attempt to argue me down to prove she is right.
Simply speaking- she gets on my damn nerves sometimes!! LOL. Sometimes I just want her to shut the #*(@^ up. And half the time, she's sooooooooo wrong!!!
So, in order to prevent any exchange of rudeness between she and I, I basically stopped talking to her as much. She's too much for herself, and definitely too much for me!
Church, church, church!!!! Ultimately, we have to accept the fact we share the planet with persons who are wasting oxygen, however, those same people are an excellent source of humor...
I had a co worker who was the bane of my existence for ten years! She finally moved on last week after twenty-five years with the company. She was an Underwriter, but for some reason she couldn't stand me and I'm just the lowly policy typist.
Thought she knew everything and thought everybody was scared of her. People need to get over themselves, I think, and she definitely needed to get over herself...
I think for me, Blu it has to be the preachy & self-righteous. They go on and on but stay blind to their own shortcomings. And there's another category. People who offers sarcastic quips in a very general context but you know they're hitting openly at you. Oooooh........
I'd have to say the hateful come first to mind; actually, I tend to say exactly what I'm thinking in that case. And I don't feel at all bad about that.
Then, the self-righteous, and just about any policial speech ever made (I make an exception for Winston Churchill; I love the recordings of his speeches!) make me feel that way.
Oh my!This post seems to be one that too was overdue. I'm glad I posted it and gave you all an opportunity to get this off your chest. Now you have, I think you should find a way to act in kind to those (if possible) who have treated you infairly or said something in appropriate. Maybe by doing that, they'll get a much needed dose of their own medicine. Trust me, I'll be doing the same.
My neighbor who swears she knows everything and the lady at the grocery store who's always commenting about what people buy. Just do your damn job and stop worrying about what other folk are eating.

Many co-workers, a couple friends and a former Pastor come to mind.

I'd probably better stop there...

I usually just tell them like it is. But I guess that doesn´t make me to popular!lol!
Well MEOW! Amen to that sista!
This sounds just like the co-manager at my local supermarket. Along with some very preachy and self-righteous friends.
