okay, so im confused :-/

What is with the number 3?  So, they say 3 strikes and you're out, but they say 3rd time's a charm, which is it?

I've been trying to figure this out and can't so I'm enlisting the assistance of my readers to aid in my understanding.

Thanks!

Okay, and I'll throw in that "3" represents the trinity. How's that!

By the way, it’s my favorite number. :D

@ believer - okay, i can dig that, but that's 3 in the affirmative; so how come it gets used in the negative equally as often? 13 is my favorite #.

I'm leaving the 3rd comment, so that makes me special. 3 is also my favorite number. I don't have anything informative to add, but I'll just leave you with another statement including the number 3:

3 the hard way

Have a good weekend

@ Org - Thanks for adding more confusion to my already confused state. LOL! I'm starting to think that the #3 is more trouble than it's worth.

I don't believe it's about good and bad, positive and negative. The number three is about CHANGE. three deaths. Three births. It's powerful both ways - I believe as a reminder that evil constantly fights against good. What we reap from "3" depends on whose team we're on.

Personally, I like to consider myself on Team Trinity. hehe

@ Hawa - so, basically, the #3 is like the yin/yang because for each of the 3's presented, there is both a positive and negative. thanks for your input.
