from 0 to 60

As I sat here feeling a little apathetic, uninspired, and a little out of it, I decided to clean out some files on my computer and as I did, I came across something that left room for pause and suddenly energized me back into the vibrant frame of mind I typically have. It's funny how when you're feeling un or under inspired, all it takes is a little nudge to put you back on track.

Hope you enjoy this...even though I do not recall how I got it or where it came from, so whomever the author is of this; I apologize for not being able to give due credit...

You can’t be where you won’t go.

Perseverance will be the vehicle to victory.

Having a dream is only half the equation. You must put your dream into action.

Writing is a craft that not only takes practice but plenty of patience.

Networking is the key in seeing your purpose come to fruition.

Stay hungry. There is always room for improvement.

Passion is a force that can bring about change if applied.

Purpose and passion are synonymous.

Discover and rediscover the hidden treasures of your heart.

Writing is a tool that can set any mood and entice the reader to travel with you,
regardless of content.

Printed words on paper should be as effective as if you were speaking at the podium to thousands.

Destiny desires that you mentor and support others in the area of passion you are pursuing, those above and below.

Love to live; live to love!

Blu Jewel, I don't know about you. You took down the blue car and put up 2 brown tantalizing legs. On top of that you throw up the "V" sign. Tell me what's really on your mind :-).

Nice post, it said it all.

@Carey - uhm, those "2 brown tantalizing legs" belong to my 17y/o daughter. We were on the beach in Negril, Jamaica and the picture was captured. Glad you liked the post, not go wash your eyes out with Visine...lol!

love to live; live to love!

No... Go wash your eyes out with SOAP! We know how much that hurts. LOL

Blu, How lovely that you found the inspiration you needed in a task as simple as purging files. Yes, my heavenly Father is all.UP in the details of our lives and looking-out even when we're just moseying along.

You're a blessed woman. And the way you inspire, you deserve all the inspiration that comes your way!

Love you!

Hey Blu,

Thanks for your kind words about my new motiviation.

This poem here is really good for me. I take heed to the first 3 parts because I'm beginning this new journey and I am trying to put this dream into action.

Just in the past 3 days since I made the decision to become an artist manager I've pretty much read through the book I purchased to give me the philosophy behind it, I've landed an internship with a small artist management comp., and I have a group that is willing to be my guinea pig as I go through the seasons of this new career.

I'm being obedient.

@Hawa - Thanks for your never ending support and encouragement. Agreed that our Heavenly Father is always UP in the mix. LOL @ your reaction to Carey

@Carey - LMAO! It's all good. It was an honest mishap. And yes, Hawa and I do and will always stick together.

@Jenelly - I'm happy that the words I gave you were of use. I strive to inspire and encourage others as I've been along the way. I wish you every success and am happy this post was of assistance to you.

@LadyLee - So happy you were enriched.

Love to live; live to love!

So, I take it you write Miss Blu. Those are some very nice proverbs you found. Writing is as relaxing as it is frustrating, though.

These tidbits were from my post in March 2007 "A Film Writer" under the heading The Writer’s Daily Affirmations - A few I authored while others were collected.

Your comment:
i love the affirmations and i plan to copy/paste them as a daily reminder not to settle for less. Thanks for the inspiration.

I understand about keeping stuff for a rainy day. I have a few of your emails that I can't seem to trash. ;)

It's been a wonderful journey seeing how our lives of progressed and conquered in the past two years.

God bless you!
